Where Every Dog Has Their Day!

Since 2014, The West Loop 569 Bark Park has been providing Chicago’s furry friends an urban oasis for endless tail wagging fun!

This Chicago Park District Dog Friendly Area is located in the West Loop neighborhood across from Skinner Park, on the north side of W. Monroe Street between Throop and Loomis.

Tree shaded walkways, rockery, and lush turf are decorated with tennis balls awaiting for an epic game of fetch. Seated areas make it a great gathering spot for giving their loyal companions their very own day.

Fun Events

In addition to our every day fun, we plan and host exciting pet friendly events!

Breed specific meet ups, partnerships with other community businesses, and our annual park birthday party and halloween costume party just to name a few!

You Can Make A Difference!

Donations and volunteer work helps us maintain the safety and cleanliness of the park.  We ask for donations from our community to help with the maintenance of the park since the Chicago Park District does not provide any funds for park maintenance or improvements.

Our favorite dog park!! If you are driving, always plenty of parking. Plenty of space for dogs to run plenty of space for people to spread out!! Shaded areas for hot times and splash pools for dogs to cool off in. Lots of tennis balls around. Poop bags have always been stocked in case you forget your own. Never had an issue yet with an aggressive dog or entitled owner. Everyone always just relaxed and there for same reason.

Been to a few parks around the city and this is our favorite yet. Very good sized space with turf, concrete, and rocks. Plenty of seating and cleaning supplies & receptacles. At least 30+ tennis balls and quite a few ball launchers. Upcoming events and resources also posted. Ease of parking dependent on day & time. Nice area nearby to just walk around with your pup as well. Definitely recommend checking out if you’re in the area.
